July 7th trail run

We are up in Ouray for a couple of weeks and went down to Silverton this morning. From there we decided to do a mini run on some of the trails you guys will be on. Left Silverton on 110 and went past Corkscrew Gulch and then on by the Poughkeepsie cutoff. Poughkeepsie is closed, it doesn't look like they've made any attempt to clear it. Then on up towards Engineers Pass and then turned around and came back to Animas Forks aand then down to Eureka and back to Silverton on CR2. Here's a few pics. Notice the one that has the Poughkeepsie turnoff and that the road going that way is buried in snow. Wish we could stay for the Summit.

Follow the yellow brick.
Multivex mirrors, BudBuilt skid, Bandi mount, Midland CB, Firestick, Baja Rack, SAW full suspension, MB 72 black rims, Duratrac p285's, body mount chop, on engine number 2. But it's gone now... So I just hang around

Everything I post is for entertainment purposes only. Any comments about anything political is not intended to be.

My signature picture is our vacation home in Ouray, Colorado about 3 blocks from the FJ Summit HQ.

Thumbs up Re: July 7th trail run

Thanks for the trail report.

That looks like the top side of Poughkeepsie Gulch. That makes sense. I bet the lower end isn't like that.

Glad you guys had a good time. Sorry we missed hooking up while we were in town. We just had too much going on I guess......though, I did manage to get em to drive past your place and saw your bundle of joy sitting in the driveway.
