Re: Houston area convoy to the Summit

I'm hoping to leave July 5 or 6th to make my way to Moab, via Arizona. If this doesn't workout then I'll be leaving on the 11th to head to Moab. I think most of us who are going are heading to Moab first. Maybe two or three are going straight to the Summit. You might be better hooking up with the Dallas crew because we can get them to go to Moab with us...well except Randy! Or go to Moab with us!

I will be leaving July 11th, staying in Clovis, NM than Durango, CO before hitting Ouray, CO late in the day on the 15th

Push on until Santa Fe, or Albuquerque you will be much happier with your choice of hotels.

Yep! Bev and I are heading to Moab the weekend before Summit with the crew again this year - too much fun to pass up!! Wilson's TRDparts4U Convoy from Dallas was near full but worth a check for status. Good luck and Safe Travels!

Re: Houston area convoy to the Summit

I had been planning to, but with my Dad wanting to go, he won't be in Houston until the 11th. Also with his MS, tent camping wouldn't be very fun for him, plus I want to make sure he has time to acclimate to the altitude.

I do have the rental house from the 15th thru the 22nd, so we may hit Moab afterward.
