Re: how much $$$ did the Summit cost you?

I saw that our motel that charged $155/night during the Summit is now running a $55/night rate for the rest of the summer.

But I got to meet Baz and The Moose, and had Demello's carne asada, so that was worth the extra 400 bones.

What size tires will fit on my FJ?

The owner's manual for your FJ is right here. <--- This is a link. Many answers to your questions are contained within.

Re: how much $$$ did the Summit cost you?

5 Goodyear Dura-trax
1CB
$16 in beef jerky ( from Main St. Not that good)
1 expo1 front bumper on the group buy (today)
$350 in raffle tickets (won $1000 High Altitude Radio package)
1 white water rafting trip down the Royal Gorge

Not to mention the cost of the trip.

But what the hell you only have such a short time on this planet why not enjoy it!

It's basically $1000 gift certificate for any thing that High Altitude Communications has. So I guess I will be getting a few 2 way radios.

I'm ignoring the cost because the experience was priceless.

There's no arguing that it can be an expensive trip but most don't have wheeling anything like this close to home. There are always a lot of repeat attendees so I think that speaks volumes. Gas is always my biggest expense and runs around $800+. I can't buy raffle tickets any more.

I have nothing like this here in Illinois. It's a big beautiful country out there. Any excuse to go experience it is worth the expense. I plan on going next year.

Food, gas, hotel, souvenir T-shirts = $$$.

The memories and experience, priceless. I'm so happy we were able to go.
