Well that's easy enough. I appreciate it.
No problem, let me know when you're going and maybe I'll meet you out there if my schedule allows it.

Re: 4x2 limits?

I'm in L.A I have a 4x2 w no rear locker... Now what should I expect? I've only been once to cleghorn and took the easy fire roads. It was just lots of bouncing around lol. All I have is auto LSD.. How different is that from a rear locker?

2008 4x2 Sandstorm TT Blacked out, Demello sliders, 5100 Bilstein shocks up front, OME/ICON on the rear, Nitto Terra Grapps(265/70/17)...

I'm with fj6 here. I have a Rear Locker and I can go through just about anything I've encountered so far. But you need to play even more safe than I do.

Re: 4x2 limits?

Yea... I figured lol luckily I road maybe 1-2 a year and not really into the whole Rick climbing lol so I think bumpy fire roads is a safe bet for me. When I bought my sandstorm I knew nothing or cared little for this... Damn oh well I'll stick to mall crawling lol. Oh can a rear locker still be added if so how much? And is it worth it?

Re: 4x2 limits?

In the sand, I can go lots of places in 2wd with the rear locked up. But when the going gets tough, I have the drop it in 4. Once you lose your momentum in sand or mud, you're done. Not much will get you unstuck in any real sand or mud. At the dunes, I wouldn't even try climbing anything in 2wd. You would have to build up so much speed that you are going to pilot the thing off the top. With 4wd, you can finnesse it.

You could add a selectable locker if you wanted. Look up ARB for example...

6 Speed Manual
Old Man Emu Lift
Discover STT 285/70/R17
