Recovery Equipment

After getting my Expedition One rear bumper I looked for some clevis' to put on. A little research and contact with Speeco revealed that the 3/4x3 Farm Clevis at TSC has a load rating of 13,000 pounds.
For $8 that's not a bad deal - and unless i'm mistaken more than adequate for average use...

If someone has broken a Clevis, I'm curious what the ratings were. Most of the ones at Grainger and Northern Tool etc only had a 4000lb load rating.

Usually the stated load rating is a significant safety factor below actual capacity/load limits to failure....

'08 Fusion: ARB rack, custom ladder, Jerry-can carrier & Hi-lift mount, DO front bumper, Expedition-1 Rear bumper, DO Hybrid Sliders, MileMarker Hyd Winch, SPEC Stage-1 clutch, Icon Stage 2 3" lift, Cobra CB, PNR Snorkel, Spidertrax spacers, All-Pro Skid plates, Airlift airsprings Plasti-Dipped hood, Arco PIAA fogs, Hella drivin lights & more......
