Please Help locker seems on after 3rd member rebuild..

Please excuse me for using the wrong terminology but I have a problem. We just rebuilt my 3rd member and put everything back on. When I dropped the FJ to the ground and started her up and hit reverse it seems like the locker is still on but button is not engaged. Was there something I forgot to do? Why does it seem like the locker still on? It felt like the rear tires are skipping on the pavement. Thank you for your help!!!!

What locker is it? Have you contacted the manufacturer? Have you checked the actuation? (air, electric) More details would help.
