Just curious if you've had any problems with door sag or hinge issues? I like Chitown's setup but worried about 8 gals of fuel (about 70 lbs if you round up) in addition to the weight of the mount itself?

Yeah, I had the same thought. It does sag a bit with the full 8 gallons on, so I don't put on a full 8 gallons unless I really think I need it. You'll start to notice that the door latch doesn't exactly match with the loop on the body when you try to close the back door with a full 8 gallons, but it goes back to normal once you take the weight off.

Scary... I know that metal flexes, but that doesn't sound good.

I use a dual rotopax mount from Vector offroad. It's designed for a jeep, I believe, but the mounting holes are pretty close and I got it to work with my FJ just fine. Here's the link to buy: Vector Offroad You can see where they fit in my signature picture.
