I need help with my Build!

Hey everyone, I will be picking up my first 2007 FJ this coming Wednesday! Its fully stock and has a B package.

I will be installing a Rough Country 3 inch lift kit, any comments about this brand?
But I am having a hard time with rims! I want "Deep Dish" rims AKA Negative offset. So please give me some suggestions!

Also, I do not want to do a body chop, so i will be running 17 inch rims with 285/70/17 tires.

I will also be installing a TRD Exhaust later this summer!

Attached is a picture of my FJ Fully bone stock! The Front bumper is already repaired by the dealer!

Re: I need help with my Build!

The negative offset wheels will likely make the 285's rub the body mounts. If you run 285's on stock wheels it won't rub, but once they stick further out than stock it will rub.

Re: I need help with my Build!

I agree with @Iconic_ and @cliffy . I did the BMC just to be safe. LT285/70R17 E on stock alloys.

I'd look at the URD Stainless 3″ Mark3 Exhaust. Love the sound, no droning at speed.

The pipe/resonator are tucked up and exit on the inside of the frame rail instead under the rail and outside.

Thanks for the input! I will ditch the idea of negative off set rims.

I have 17x9 -12mm offset with 285/70/17 Nitto RidgeGrapplers. They don't rub with the 3" lift on it.

I like my deep dish but "ditch the 285" https://www.fjcruiserforums.com/forum...pe-x-16-a.html

BMC wasn't required, but still did it anyway a few months later.

They look like Mickey Thompson wheels to me.

Check these out not many people have these since they were released just a couple months back. KMC makes these and several other good looking models, Discount Tire I believe has a line on KMC if you contact them.
