Re: OEM Skid Plate Question

me too!

All ready to reap the benefits of super gas mileage, reduced wind noise and rock crawling extraordinaire (i.e. none of the above).

The threads were filled with gunk so a quick chase with an M8-1.25 tap cleaned them up, and a bit of anti-seize on the bolt threads, for posterity.

It has a tab which engages with the mid skid plate to help it cantilever rearward without deflecting under wind load. It is glass filled polypropylene, so should be reasonable durable against little things, like wind, or getting pushed on by tall grass.

You held your camera upside down?
You took them on a trip to Australia?
Lol!
I have no clue.

Go ahead, skin it! Skin that smoke wagon and see what happens...

I'll ride in on a sunny day, Sing you a song, steal your heart away Like a cowboy Hang my hat like I'm here for awhile Kick off my boots and drive you wild Like a cowboy Well baby you know I can't stay long You wake up, I'll be gone Until then I'll hold on Like a cowboy.
