I'd say the MT '08 with S/C all day long (because that is exactly what I have!).
The TRD S/C is an awesome kit, it cost $6000. Compare that to some bumpers and wheels/tires and the odds are that's worth more than they would be.
Yeah the S/C’s are pricey. The ‘08 also has the URD 7th injector, 2.55 pulley, TRD cold air intake, URD lower temp Thermostat, and URD tuning. I’m sure those mods added to the price.
How many miles are on your FJ and when did you put the supercharger on it? One thing that was making me lean a little toward the 2010 was that I wasn’t sure how the S/C would affect engine reliability. I want at least 250-300k miles out of my FJ
