BAJA rack wind noise

Just got my new BAJA rack installed for my RTT. At about 45 mph, there's a noise that kicks in, and I can make it go away by going slower or faster. The front air dam looks 100%, but is there something I need to do to get rid of that loud hummmm sound?

Re: BAJA rack wind noise

I had a droning sound about the same speed. I called Baja and they sent me out some foam that goes between the airdam and the rack. Super cool guys, shipped it out fast and didn't charge me anything. It seem to fix the problem.

Re: BAJA rack wind noise

Thanks Mountain Mike for the info. I really like the rack so I look forward to getting the tweak from the BAJA guys.

Re: BAJA rack wind noise

I just got an email from the guys at BAJA. They are all over it and I am confident they will eliminate the harmonic sound for me.

Re: BAJA rack wind noise

My sound is at 32 mph. I don't mind it though but 33 it's gone same for 31. Keeps me from speeding down one road here in town that is marked 35 and known for being a speed trap.

I'm going through the same issue. Wondering if the foam Bajarack sent you solved the wind noise problem...

Please post pictures if possible.

Thanks.
