Excellent reviews as always! I just got the Nemo shower tent and will check out that porta-poti!
Thanks!

It really is a nice shower enclosure, and it goes up easy, if you follow their instructions

The porta potty is a little shorter having a smaller waste tank, but it will be fine, you just sit a little lower.
If you have the room in a rig, you can got for the 550 model which is taller and a bigger waste tank.

Corey

I really like the way you've kitted out your rig

Very similar to mine,
Ive changed the EaziAwn RTT for a ALU-Cab (shown in the RTT thread)
Also has the 270degree Ostrich wing awning fitted to the rack
I have 1 x NL Fridge that I run as a Freezer, & 1 x Waeco 37Ltr Fridge that is placed where the rear seats used to be.
55ltr water tank
2 x 105AH deep cycle batteries (+1 cranking battery)
2 x 105W solar PV panels
4 Drawer aluminium packing system

BTW - I could swear that your avatar pic was taken at one of my favorite campsites in Mana Pools Nat Park in Zimbabwe

Ostrich Wing awning

What it looks like without all the kit fitted

Thank you very much!
Tell me more about the 55 liter water tank.
I see Front Runner made a hard one with outlets on both ends, but it does not fit behind the front seats very well on the FJ.

The avatar was a poor attempt by me years ago with Photoshop or some other photo program.
I found the elephant with a Google search, then pasted the Maggiolina tent on top of it.

I have a new chuckbox being built by Trail Kitchens, it should ship the end of this week.
Will be much lighter than the beast, but it will not hold as much.
But the wood one is too heavy for me to be lifting in and out of the rig.

I am at work, so the only pic that would show up is your awning, very nice.
Boeing is blocking the other ones.
Will have to view from home or on my phone later.

Re: Camping Gear Reviews, A Ton

Hi Corey

The water tank is manufactured in ZA by a Company called Pioneer Plastics - it is distributed and sold locally by FrontRunner and is available on their website
If you look at my packing system, you will see there is a fridge slide and what cant be seen is that the two stacked drawers on the right are slightly shorter than the bottom two, the water tank then gets strapped to the packing system behind the fridge slide and these two drawers.
