Re: Forum Slowing Down?

Mind seemed slow for a few days last week but is fine this week. I've noticed that other members from time to time will indicate that things are loading slow for them on the forum while things are loading normal for me. Go figure!

Re: Forum Slowing Down?

Here's what I've personally noticed just recently: when I select a post that takes several seconds to open, it's usually because there are a number of photos in that post. Posts without photos or other graphics open normally....I don't recall this happening previously.

Re: Forum Slowing Down?

This forum has become horribly slow. I don't have any issues on Pirate4x4 or FJC central. This site keeps crashing the Adobe Flash plugin on my firefox.

This site is also pretty slow to load on my Droid.

Re: Forum Slowing Down?

.

It does seem to have gotten much slower over the past several months (in relation to a number of other similar automotive forums I frequent).

Re: Forum Slowing Down?

I noticed it the very first time I visited. This site is glacial but I've just gotten used to it.

I think it probably has something to do with the gratuitous advertisements. I hope someone's banking on this site cause I'm staring at a "Build-A-Bear Workshop" banner as we speak and I must say someone needs a little guidance in their target market research.

Oh to hell with it, I'm getting the build-a-bear.
