Re: What's the best year to buy?

Hellfire, when shopping for our FJ we saw 2010s at dealers, but they hadn't advertised them on the net. They also wanted within $500 of what we could get an '11 for with the exact features and options. Understanding the difference between driving off the lot in an instantly one year old new car and a new car, we chose the '11. All other factors equal, the 2011 will be worth more than a 2010 at trade in time. If you're(not your) going to keep it forever, ignore what I just said.
Bottom line: enjoy shopping and get what makes you happy.

Re: What's the best year to buy?

Buy a low mileage Fj...07, with every option already installed for 20K...You then can purchase used parts such as steel bumpers, suspension componets ,and many more after market parts for a fraction of the cost.

It will be worth the most as a collectible...as most believe the fj will become obsolete as Fuel heads north towards 5+ per gl...Just like europe and the other world trade unions.

A first run truck is always most collectible...after the make has come back after twenty + yrs...
