Should I buy this FJ?

Hello all! I need a little help/advice. I’ve been flirting with buying an FJ for at least a year now, but have been very particular about what I am looking for. I finally found one, but I’m curious to hear your opinions on it before I pull the trigger, and perhaps some questions I should be asking the dealership. I do know that the Front brake hoses, brake fluid and brake master cylinder were replaced recently. Let me know what you guys think, I appreciate it in advance!

Have you looked at this in person to see what's going on with these wires and why they are exposed? Those in the cargo area would make me really concerned with the general condition of the vehicle.

Also the VSC/traction/ABS dash lights are on with the engine running... so ask the dealer what OBD codes are showing up

It has a snorkel.

That means someone cut into the metal on that front panel. Maybe take a look and see how clean that job looks and what else, if anything, is nonstandard in the engine bay.

Re: Should I buy this FJ?

It is pretty pimped out. Definitely wheeled, but if it checks out that is ok. For example you can tell it came off something down onto the driver-front mud flap / fender. Would want to crawl around it all and see whats what.

That lighting likely really does it justice.

The one switch looks to say rear window...so maybe those wires are just to pop the glass with a switch...unless it has a ChiTown actuator on it. That would be cool. Crap wiring job though.

Ask for a Car Fax report.
