2008 Black 6spd MT Upg. Pkg 2 Black Diamond

Dealer asking $26,049.00*

MSRP ~$29,689.00

How much too much?
Bought my 2008 6 MT Brick in September.

Sticker ~ $28,700, add in all the dealer add-ons and it was around $29,500. Ended up getting it for $24,600...out the door in less than 2 hrs.

I'd work on them a little harder, especially if they have several on the lot.

2008 Brick 6 MT Hankook MT's, Demello winch bumper, Icon Coilovers, OME rear, Total Chaos UCAs, All Pro skids, JBA exhaust, Airaid intake, 2 Garmins, 3 dogs, and 1 wife...not necessarily in that order.

Actually they just sent me an email:

Year
2008

Model
Toyota

Trim Level FJ Cruiser
MSRP $28,458
Internet Discount $26,150.13
Cash back or 0% fin. -$5,000
Rebate -$1200
Total Internet Savings
$19,950.13

I guess thats much more like it?

So I will have to goto Toyota with the rebates? I'm confused on how the rebates work/cash back work I suppose.
Sounds like a deal worth pulling the trigger on. I should have waited a couple of months as the cash back was only $1500 and rebate $500 when I bought mine. On second though...I've had way too much fun and glad I got it when I did.

Good luck!!

Re: Quote way too high?

I don't know if if this helps but I bought yesterday in SC. Didn't want to chance the rebate going away so I took a deal and ran!

Sandstorm, 6 sp MT, Roof rack, factory hitch, upgrade pack #2, arm rest, mats, step bar, and a full tank of gas!

MSRP a few clams short of 31K. out the door with tags, tax and license and after rebate (which they fill out and have you initial - very easy!!) I paid 24,500!

It's at the "port" and is being trucked up from JAX - wont get it til Sat / Mon and cant wait!!!

Learned a lot from the site!

Thanks
