Great find Smalldog! One thing to remember/consider is these are FLAT - (no offset) so sometimes you'll run into a situation that makes it a knuckle buster to get at something...
I'm blessed to turn wrenches for a living on occasion so this I know...
Still, for the price you can't go wrong and what's a little skin every now and then...

Good point, and they indeed are flat. I theorized and overthought flat, angled, etc, etc, and came to the conclusion that flat is better when the ratcheting wrenches aren't reversible so that you can get the same angle from either end of the wrench? Would you agree with this theory? Or maybe it means I need a few sets with different variations?!

I would be wary of the Craftsman "lifetime warranty" because unless Sears sells their Craftsman brand, the lifetime warranty appears to be only as long as Sears' life, which is not looking too good these days.

Agreed. Another important point, at least at my local Sears, is that they have a full stock of single Gearwrench ratcheting wrenches on the shelf for free replacement guarantee, or to purchase singles. They had no Craftsman non-ratcheting single wrenches in stock for purchase, or warranty replacement. Even the Sears guy sold me on Gearwrench he probably knew more than what he shared with me too

Here's the warranty print on the box, and the "made in Taiwan" showing they are made by Apex tools as Overdue pointed out earlier:

I guess if Sears goes under I might be equally screwed since it says return the wrench to the store it was purchased from

I have seen gearwrenches at Home Depot so I would try to pretend I bought them there if no more Sears at some point!

After sleeping on it after this purchase, and turning a few wrenches yesterday with them, I am very pleased with the purchase!

Yes, flat is better for non reversible... if there was offset non reversible I'm sure the sale price would be smokin' irresistible!!!!

Use them and enjoy them! For the price they're practically disposable!

That is an even better deal with the same 20 wrenches I got, plus the stubbies. The stubbies are $55 X 2 alone, for metric and SAE except you get 4 extra stubbies (2 per kit) buying the sae and metric stubby kits separately.

I would have bought that one instead if they had it in stock!

I'd rather have the flex, but maybe the stubby will do the job

Those flex ones seem to articulate too much and it seems a lot of leverage is lost. If the flex heads had a lock out option it might be a different story?! I bought a Craftsman 3/8 flex ratchet handle and the damn thing is so flexible that it's useless

Look for a J.H. Williams flex head ratchet that is Made in America (there is a taiwan line also) and it is the same as the Snap-on 36t ratchet for 1/4 the price. Great ratchet and not sloppy. The repair kit is the exact same as the Snap-on. I have both the 1/2" and 3/8" drive. Unfortunately, it is not the 80t. Bahco super fine ratchets are the Snap-On 80t but they do not have the swivel head available.
