Re: Amazon Smile

It sucks that it doesn't work with the smartphone app as that is where I do most of my ordering. I do use it if I remember to when ordering via a web browser.

Re: Amazon Smile

Nice!
I've had an Amazon Prime account for years and probably spend $1000 a month there.

Thanks for the share.

Re: Amazon Smile

I've been doing this program for the past year. I like it and it is good hearted. My friend did make a good point in saying that they are able to just write all those donations off as charity when it comes to taxes though...

You'd be better to donate directly and buy locally. Amazon is evil.
As soon as my local businesses can supply what I am buying at the same cost, and deliver the goods to my house within 2 days time for free, I'll start buying everything locally again.

I'm all for supporting local businesses, but I don't make enough money to justify paying 30% or greater for the same product just to do so.

;-)

And I have a German Shepherd Rescue set up on prime as a donation selection. I'm thinking about switching up halfway through the year to tread lightly though.

So that's how they get those big celebrities in their commercials... Seems like they got too big for their own good.
