https://pages.ebay.com/promo/2019/03...hUzLguWpq.html

There is a 10% coupon until 3/31, only invited registered eBay users (so that means... may or may not work for some of you) (no go for me)

No I did not. It would seem my wife is no better at new phone tech than I. She couldn't get the app to down load to her phone. She was still taking care of work issues and was texting back and forth with her boss when she got home. She tried a couple of things, visibly was starting to stress so I told her not to worry about it. There will be other sales... So sad really.

Nah, I'm not upset about it. Like I said the Nittos I'm running are still in great shape so I don't really need new shoes. I'm ready for some quiet commuting though. I also look forward to getting a little umph back with lighter skinnier tires.

I also want to get your expert opinion on what rim offset to run with 255's. I want the outside of my setup to stay close to where it's at with my 33x12.50's on 17x9 -12mm. I played with the simulator you hooked me up with and -38mm looks spot on but the -25mm 'more rim choices' doesn't look so far off either. I'll try staying with a more narrow wheel but 8.5" seems to be most common.

Do you think 255's would have looked good on your old -25mm rims? I don't mind skinny so long as I keep up wide stance appearance's.

Your idea for 255s should work great me thinks. The 255 are approximately 10" wide on the tread width. Should wrap the rim quite nice! I think the -25 offset option would look aesthetically pleasing. The one thing that I didn't like when I upgraded on my 16x8 -25 wheels from 33.5x12.5 (295/75) to 34.5x12.5 (315/75) was the bulk of the new tire made the stance appear overly wide. Contrary to the look I had/have now, I'm not a huge fan of tires sticking out of their fenders. A little poke is okay but too much looks funny and careless. You got rid of bushwackers and back on stock fender flares right? I imagine an 8.5" -25 offset to play well with the stock fenders.

Hope that helps. Check out the 255 tire thread and get some visual confirmation on rim sizes when you have time.

I've been all through that thread. All the pics I've seen of 255's don't have a whole lot of neg offset. I was playing with the offset simulator and noticed it also gives you the 'poke' measurement too. -25mm actually loses almost 3/4" compared to my current setup not including losing .5" rim width. so I'm thinking 255's on a 17x8.5 my set really close to flush with the stock flares... Method makes a -38 rim. Do you think that would be too obnoxious? I like a little more poke than most but not high school'er 1 ton diesel inverted wheel stick out.

I was eyeballing that but then found other sellers could still beat DT Ebay prices even with the coupon... so I'm still a wait'in. I want one of @ICONIC $100 off four sales..

Ahh, now I see. Buy the tires in two's for $100 smacks off total.. Guess I should've concentrated a little more on what I was reading. Off to Ebay window shop I go.
