When I was a youngster I had a Subaru with a shade ove 1000 watts of lights across the front. It was awesome until the alternator failed.
Yes, an alternator upgrade is on my list ...

Sorry, I didn't take any pics of the install in progress - I always seem to forget to do that. However, I ran the wires through the existing OEM through-roof connector and then drilled a hole through the A pillar to run the positive wire to the relay box I have under the hood. I hooked the ground up in the cab. I had previously installed the switch (in an overhead console) and the relay box, so it was actually a simple matter to connect the positive wire up to power the light bar.
Man, you are way more advanced than me on FJ mods! I need to work my way up to that. Thanks for the info.
Your FJ is extremely nice!

I highly recomend drooping your antenna cable (so the antenna coax dips down below your grommet, making any water drip off the bottom of the cable instead of following the coax directly to the grommet) and sealing the grommet area with some RTV silicone sealant.
Great advice, I'll do that as well! Would hate to rust out my door from the inside out - just like the QD below the spring, I hadn't thought of it.

What did you do to your FJ Cruiser TODAY?

Bought it some winter shoes. (Not installed yet). Tightened the front skid. (Toyota leaves it loose). Installed some rubber washers in between the skid plate bolts. (Looks like my little tiny speak is gone.)

Also tested out the flex at the bottom of the driveway. I got the front tire off the ground. (Hard to see)

I'm pretty sure that's how Ted Bundy ran his interior too.
