Installed my rear diff/e-locker breather using the ARB breather kit. I've had this for months and just now got around to installing it. I'll feel safer if I come across any deep water crossings. Next up: install PRG snorkel, it arrived this week. That's another one that will probably sit around until after my bumper, winch, and roof lights go on.
Did the ARB breather kit come with all parts needed for the FJ? Ive been looking at this one but dont want to have to hunt for extra needed parts.

The only things I bought were: a tee connector because I tied the rear diff and e-locker into one hose to run into the cab (went in through the rubber boot in the jack compartment because that's where I mounted it), and I bought two 1.25" bolts and a piece of metal from home depot to mount the filter assembly to. I bolted one end to the furthest forward bolt on the jack holder bracket and the filter to the other end.

I did pick my kit up from the for sale section here that was new, never installed by another member for around $50, the tee, bolts, and piece of metal were around $6.

The quick push connector threads right into the rear diff, installation took less than an hour. I can send you some pics if you want tomorrow, just PM me.

Overall I was pleased with the kit. If you have an automatic though you'll need to do the transmission and the front diff. There is a good write up on here somewhere for the automatic.

re: What did you do TO your FJ Cruiser TODAY?

I added some spacers under the bottom mounting points of my TG sliders. This is just a test. I WOULD NEVER OFFROAD IT LIKE THIS. I have a good friend who is a professional welder and was thinking of having him chop off the legs and reweld them at a higher angle. With the 1/2" BL and general low hanging TG sliders I wasnt happy with how low they were. Ill test them out like this for a few since they hold my weight just fine.

Great idea... That's the only issue I have with mine. How much of a spacer did you use? I toyed with having wedges made for mine that would angle them up slightly like what you did.

I actually used some nuts that were about 1/2" tall. Maybe just under 1/2". Doesnt take much. Not ones that thread on...much larger. Just as a spacer. You can kind of see them in the package on the ground...I also had a bunch of washers just in case, but I didnt need them.

I dont think wedges would work to still use them as real sliders....the bolts need to sit flush...you would need wedges under and above the slider holes...even then it still might create a shearing force on the bolts if they were to hit just right. Rewelding is probably the easiest and safest bet in the long run.

Finished up my rear link armor. Look for a group buy through Red Dirt Offroad in the very near future.
