Re: What did you do TO your FJ Cruiser TODAY?

I got it back from the bodyshop.
It's been ready to pickup since thursday, but they neglected to call me to tell me that.
The battery was dead flat, and it's developed a rub in the wheel well they were working on. I haven't had a chance to see what is causing it, but it sounds like the fender liner.

Hopefully they weren`t driving it on 2 wheels . Isn`t that the thing to do over in your neck of the world

Where’d you get the bracket? I was looking into the shrockwerks one, but won’t fit on models with the power inverter there. Leading me to my next question, do you have the inverter on your FJ? Lol! Thanks in advance!

Power Trays!

Also I have no power inverter, figured I could add one in if and when I find a need for one.

Front Bilstein's w/Eibach 700 lb/in springs (thanks for pushing me over the fence @Iconic_ ) are installed just in time before putting on the sliders and bumper . Finally a lifted and level FJ. Feels so much better now.
Please share pics! Would love to see how your FJ sits with this combo.

Wait. The power inverter lives under the hood?
I don't have a stock inverter so I'm trying to figure out where to put mine.
Is there a 110v line from the inverter to the trunk then?

I'm pretty sure it is just the fuse and relay for the inverter that's under the hood. The inverter in my '10 is in the trunk right behind the outlet location. The Shrockworks bracket interveres with the inverter relay box so you have to either unbolt it and lay it down on the inner fender well, or relocate the box.

Re: What did you do TO your FJ Cruiser TODAY?

I got my King shocks back today. They are basically brand new again. I was talking to my rep and he mentioned that with my steel bumper and winch I could run a 600 lbs. spring. I learned mine are 550lbs. He said the heavier spring would take some of the pressure off my shock ( or something like that )

Anybody else running 600 or 650lbs springs on their King 2.5 coilovers? Any info would be great Thanks Steve

Depends on bumper weight, winch and steel or synthetic but I'm running 700lb springs on my Icon 2.5's and really like it.
