Changed the oil in her, and mounted a spare golf umbrella in the back.

Re: What did you do TO your FJ Cruiser TODAY?

I was looking for a cheesy tire cover for the spare and found this one.
Was planning on cutting out the clear plastic center section, but for now, I can see pretty good from the camera.
If it deteriorates over time, I'll remove it.
Found it at auto parts warehouse for 30 bucks with free shipping.
Rampage model 783235
No trouble fitting it around a 275/70/17 KO2

^^Pickle Rick!

Had no passenger seat for 3 months. Finally finished a matching seat with aftermarket bracket so had to do some drillinz. Pro2000 model, more well known in the rally scene but they can take a beating!

In an unplanned pre-Summit repair, I had to replace a CV axle which was probably way beyond it's expected life and boot torn up badly. Luckily I have 2 spares I inherited from the seller. One is now installed and the other will be coming with me to Ouray although the thought of changing a CV axle on the trail is really terrifying (especially if the fill port plug on the front diff has never been opened). This job is terrible in a hot Houston, TX garage but it could definitely be worse on the trail...so check your CV boots before going off road!!!
Thanks for the reminder. Mine have been leaking for about a year. I probably should shoot some grease in there and reclamp the boots prior to Summit.
