I just did this last week, I had to use my old trusty (at least 28 years old) craftsman Impact wrench. You know it's old when the label reads, "Made in U.S.A. That's sad! Back on topic, axle nuts popped off after several seconds. Changed out, the wheel bearings with new pressed hubs, bought on a GB on TW, including cv axles and seals. You probably know this, but if you plan to do this in the future, spray lube that nut, at least overnight and make plans to beg, borrow, or steal a Heavy Duty impact wrench!

Have a great Labor Day weekend trip!
Good advice on hitting it with spray lube the day before. Instead of doing that I went to the SF Giants game. LOL. Anyway, it's now with my local mechanic who will likely have no issue because yesterday's PB blaster has probably penetrated overnight (plus he has the heavy duty impact wrench that I'm lacking). He actually offered to just loosen it for me for free, which I would have gone for if I didn't have work travel plans.

I better run out and get one. Oh wait, that's just $23 in my wallet, not $23k. LOL.

That looks nice and balanced!

What is the measurement between the collar and the top hat for the fronts?
