You might have luck with a moldable rubber product called Sugru - comes in matt black as well as colors, and Iíve used it to permanently repair a number of automotive and household items....very handy stuff to have around. You could use a rolling pin to flatten a piece and cut it into an oval...could even imprint an FJ logo into it while its still soft

BTW your FJ looks awesome Cool idea of lights in the fake front air vent - Would love to see pics of those lights at night!

Thanks for the tip, Iíll check that stuff out.

Hereís a couple pictures of the amazon specials:

Sounds to me that there may be a story in there somewhere?

It wasn’t today but very recently. I installed a Viair 400H.

I mounted the leader hose with a metal clamp attached to a threaded hole in the body. This gives enough stand-off to hook up in place.

I like it. Any concerns about dirt, vibration, or heat? I thought about this myself, but am unsure about long term viability.

Prep for VT Overland Rally this weekend has begun! New set of 35Ē STT Pros (huge thanks to Discount Tire!); Mounted awning, repaired backup sensors, repainted sliders, bumper wings and all the @Iconic_ Fab parts (see red items )
Hi Deb, how are you liking the Stt Pros in that size? 17" wheel? I am toying with the idea of running 35s on mine but on the TRD Beadlocks that I have now (16"). I love my STT Pros and don't want to switch to a different tire, just different size. Actually my setup will be the 35's on 16" wheels and I may be adding an additional 1" body lift on top of my Toytec lift and regearing to 4:56. How is the noise from those tires?
