Ordered blank key with remote and programmed it myself. $17 for the blank key/remote, not bad. (Programming has to deal with your key in and out of ignition and opening your drivers door several times. Thought it was a gotcha moment but it definitely worked.). If anyone is interested, I'll send a breakdown on what procedure to take if anyone is interested. It worked on a 2008 Sport model with no hiccups.
This is awesome! Please give us some details. Where did you get the blank and how did you program it? Iíve been wanting s spare so Iím not so paranoid about losing or damaging the original key.

For sure. It takes about 3/4" for mine to not hit anything.
That's about where I left mine, maybe 5/8"
I'll see what happens on my next trip, but I'm not too worried about it.

Replacing the serpentine belt. Having mega fun, bloody knuckles. And checking the routing several times for each pulley. But no rough bearings, I'll take that as a win.

Now I have a very sharp pain in a leg. Maybe leftover from the work I did a couple of days ago. It feels more like a blood clot. I can't function right now. It might be a tumor.

Great, one bolt that holds the sway bay to the frame cross threaded. I am in too much pain to deal with that now. I will figure a fix down the road.

Don't ever get old.

Installed 285x70x17 on stock wheels. No issues even full flex and turning the wheels. No lift. Yet. Give me 2 or 3 weeks. Tires are desert hawk.

Re: What did you do TO your FJ Cruiser TODAY?

Got the 265's on with 2" spacers and the spare tire delete bolted on. I should have gone with 1.25" spacers. Don't mind the dust, rained on the way home from work.
