I got the aluminum terminals. They make copper ones but they are a bit too spendy for me.
Thanks

Re: What did you do TO your FJ Cruiser TODAY?

I refinished the rear sway bar and installed new bushings as well as Skyjacker links today. One of the old end links had bent at the body end. It seems that although there was three inch rear lift springs, the links were of a standard length. I completed the front sway bar refurb a couple of weeks back. I had spacers up front but removed those in favour of longer links. I prefer running with the sway bars installed to combat body roll on the streets but I am not shy to remove both front and rear for those times I need the extra travel on the trail.

Over the weekend I treated some light rust on the frame. Today I primed and painted. It was strange though. When I started spraying several moths flew out from where they were hiding.

Hook and loop? Lol. Here's the kit I got. Cheap and a decent amount of them for my needs.

Converted to 5lug and Lexus rims and changed the brakes. Interesting wear bar on the perimeter

How and why? Never seen an FJ hub conversion before, wondering what the advantages are.

It's not real. It's my parents Lexus ES. I think the caliper is off or something. Never had that happen so I'll take a look tomorrow. This is why I don't get to work on my FJ lol. By the way there are 5x150 conversions to Tundra axles. Advantages are larger CV and rear end. I wouldn't say it's a hub conversion but rather front subframe and rear axle replacement work to fit stock 4link.

Re: What did you do TO your FJ Cruiser TODAY?

Installed a replacement solar panel after mine had seriously degraded. Unfortunately this panel spiked at 46 watts and never went higher, Ive checked all the leads and connections but no change. I suppose the controller could be faulty but these are really dependable marine units and it seems to be functioning perfectly while streaming data real time.
