I managed to get my center switch panel mostly in place. I've actually done a lot in the last sixish months.

-Expedition One rear swing out with lights.
-Removed my power tank and replaced with ARB twin compressor (we'll see how I like this change). Installed on the drivers side shelf in the back on a Mpac rack
-Re-ran cable from the rear of the FJ to the cabin for my CB.
-Installing front fogs in my Demello, that is the last switch i have to wire and then i can button the console back up.

Still to do
-Figure out how attach my CB/Cobra 75 and the extra speaker. I think I'm going to try 3m red double sided tape before drilling more into the main dash.
-Finally get the body mount chop I've needed for a year.
-Pop my front driver OME shock off and install the spacer i decided to skip the first time around. The drivers is leaning a bit these days.
I would skip 3M red tape part. I tried and it didn't hold. I drilled 2 small holes on the panel. Not the end of the world.

Dropped off my Power Tank for hydrostatic testing to be recertified.

I kind feel helpless without the tank knowing I have no spare air when needed.

I gave up on 3M red tape, Gorilla Tape Mounting Tape is my preferred choice it just works so much gooder.

Installed a mount for the 2-way radio we use when spotting.

Re: What did you do TO your FJ Cruiser TODAY?

I finally got a free day to install my dual battery system from Dirty Parts.

I am whittling down my pile of over-due mods parts.

Also made an accurate template for my Chinese Safari Snorkle knockoff.. I have been putting it off as the template that came with it was a joke, the holes didn't line up at all. The snorkel itself is very nice quality, just crap documentation. Now the template is ready, my next free day will be drilling holes in my fender...

Good thinking.....wish I had thought of that when installing my snorkel.

Mine ended up being a bit further back so it doesn't quite hug the fender the right. Top to bottom is good though.

It's definitely a 'better get it right the first time' mod.. I'm still nervous about it, but I guess at some point you have to believe you have prepared enough and drill that hole..

Here's what I did:
Drill the BIG hole 1st...
Then the little ones don't hurt as much

p.s. if you still have template can you send a copy?
I need to cut my fender flares to go around my snorkel
