Re: What did you do TO your FJ Cruiser TODAY?

Going out right now to mount my hi-lift on the roof next to me traction mats. There is a use for the stock crossbars, as long as you use u-bolts to secure things to them.

Really liking my new bolt-on cowl replacements!! Tomorrow going to install flex antenna for the AM/FM radio, move the satellite antenna to the cowl and then mount a 12VDC marine outlet for the backup battery - to use when camping. And I don't think I will even need to pop off the external A-pillar cover to do those....

Waiting on some new stage lighting hangers to mount the old/new solar panel again - this time below the rest of the roof mounted gear for protection...

I drilled right through mine for the Maxxtraxx mounts. No U-bolts needed.

Re: What did you do TO your FJ Cruiser TODAY?

Unloaded a few more things from the trip.I don't know why my legs feel like I climbed K2.

I have some nice photos to upload. Here's one. There was at least a dozen languages being spoken. I recognized that 2 women were from The Netherlands and could converse a bit about cameras and filters.

This is Dead Horse Point State Park near Moab waiting for sunset.
