Re: Things I learned today

A strongly worded review was logged online immediately upon the arrival at my abode.

After Monday and Tuesday even the calender says WTF

You get used to them. What happened?
Well she called it plantar fasciitis and insertional Achilles tendonitis and something about the sharks tooth growing on the back of my heel, she said "you may have tore a few fibers in the tendon" HOLY mother of God, a few fibers? It felt like someone parked a 7000lb suv with 24" tires on my foot while I stood on the curb while he ran from the cops and then the K9 bit my foot because he threw a bag of weed by it....

I know pain, I can deal with pain, but wow, that was off the scale.

So some tape, some ice, a soft cast, a crutch, stay off it (lol), lots of oval white pills and bourbon. We are gonna live. I just remember everyday that there are a lot of people worse off then I.

Don’t leave the windows down a bit when the neighbors Cottonwood is “shedding “.

There is white fluffy stuff all over the interior.

I re-learnt that moving house is a massive pain in the ass...
And that we've accumulated a lot of crap since our last move 6 years ago...

Re: Things I learned today

I was using my air impact wrench to remove the 2 bolts that attach the lower ball joint to the spindle. I had one hand under it to keep the socket on the bolt. Well as it un-threaded it pushed the impact wrench down and there wasn't much room. It pinned the one hand between the wrench and the driveway. I had to stop and put it in forward and then press the trigger to get clearance to get my hand out of the way.

Thankfully there wasn't any neighbor kids around to witness the colorful words.

@rotorhed1 That's really sad. How else are the kids today going to learn what a great and colorful language we have? Chances are they're not going to learn it at home or school anymore.

Re: Things I learned today

I reinforced the fact that I'm not 25 and bulletproof anymore. Changing the front shocks did a number on my back. I started a new med a month ago that was helping, yesterday doc doubled it. But now I have ice packs stuck to me.

What I learned today is that maybe I should have spent 2 days on this project.
