Today I learned that even when my FJ is dinged, dented, pin-striped, and muddy people will still say how cool it is in the Menard's parking lot. Also, 200 pounds of asphalt patch in the back makes my FJ ride smoother than a Benz
It's amazing how many times I've had that smooth ride on the way back from the home improvement store!

If you throw your wallet in a lake or burn it in a fire, all of a sudden your life gets really simple and modding an FJ is the last thing you'll think about.

Re: Things I learned today

I learned that if you buy some wheels from another automobile and it has the TPMS sensor, sometimes, your FJ may think its a faulty TPMS and throw the TPMS sensor light. Had it happen today. Bought a spare TRD wheel from a 4runner and had to take it to a tire shop to relearn the new sensor.

Re: Things I learned today

That a noise that sounds like it's the front brakes is actually the rear brakes. I broke a rear slide pin and ended up metal on metal. Front brake job with new calipers and rear brake job with 2 new rotors and a new caliper bracket. I'm on the road again!
