I'm definitely not hard on them. I use the transmission occasionally and let off the gas the block before the red light while cars are passing me.

Actually kinda makes sense that they might last longer if I never heat them up that much, but my OEM's lasted much longer.
That is very odd. ...Could they have been *actual* TRD pads from Ebay, or knock-offs?

Past: 2007 Black Diamond FJC - totaled
Present: 2012 Trail Team Edition Radiant Red

Changed my plugs at 115K miles with the same ones that were installed by the dealership at 30K miles: Denso SK20HR11 Iridium

There was no change in power or performance, just a better idle, and consistent operation. I like it and know that I'm not loading up my coil packs or damaging them. The plugs did look like they were ready to be changed but they were still performing well.

My TRD brakes were installed by the dealer at 37895 miles and I still have 50% pad left at 115K miles. Note that they did the whole kit which includes TRD calipers, rotors, and pads, not just the pads. My rig stops FAST. It's almost scary if your not ready for it.

Re: What did you buy today (FJ related items)?

Picked up another Toyota to add to my collection. The 15 mpg in the FJ was killing me on road trips, so this should help.
2007 Camry XLE with 130k (not even broke in yet). Yes, I am too poor to buy a new one since I spend all my money on FJ upgrades

Nice Camry!

Just got an Atoto A6 Pro multi media head unit in Toyota specific size, with OBD transponder. Cant wait to get this in.

Also got a suv air mattress and some screens that slip over the front windows. Was going to make these but found them so cheap on amazon I couldn't pass.

Picked up some panel removing pry tools I should have got years ago.

Yota shop rear diff breather extension kit for the Dana 60. $25 shipped rivaled the price that I could piece it together myself without clamps so might as well.

Didn't have to buy these. My brother gifted them to me because he's a swell guy.
