Air Armor M240 Air Compressor

Wasn't sure where to put this thread so mods feel free to move if necessary.

I did a series of video reviews of the Master Flow Air M240 air compressor and how it mounts in my FJ Cruiser. If you guys have any better ideas on mounting feel free to let me know. Thanks!!

Re: Air Armor M240 Air Compressor

RJT,
Great video series!!!
I have subscribed & recommend everyone to do so!
saw the M-240 & was quite impressed.
I already mounted an ARB under my hood w/ a homemade mount.
But I bought 2 M-240s (sending 1 to my son) as a portable b/u.

Thank you very much for the kind words! Yes, the M240 is a really neat unit. I think you will like the M240'S you bought.

That's a great idea for a product. I have a .50 cal ammo can sitting at home, been trying to come up with a use for it.

Re: Air Armor M240 Air Compressor

Any suggestions on a better, cleaner mounting option? I considered moving it to the space on top of the rear tires. Any thoughts?

Re: Air Armor M240 Air Compressor

They sell a mounting plate ($$$) on their site,
I'm thinking of a fab on the side of my Springtail basket, same location as where you were thinking, not sure if there would be width issues(?)
or onto the fold-down tray (tray not mounted yet...) I already have an ARB unit mounted under hood where your's is.
Maybe a mount on roofrack?
Just spit-ballin'

Yea, I saw those mounting plates and I am considering one of those. Just trying to decide if I want to move it from under the hood. I kinda like it there because it is out of the way till I need it.
