I have a choice between a 2013 Blue with Off-road Pkg (Crawl Control; not a Trail Teams Edition) and Convenience Package, 57k miles, one owner, super clean (underneath too), no accidents, for $27,500 -OR- a 2013 Army Green with Convenience and Upgrade Package with a Warrior Roof Rack, very clean (even cleaner than the other which is immaculate), no accidents, and only 40k miles for $31k.

Either one stand out? I’ve owned a 2013 Trail Teams and a 2008 Base FJC.

Both of them sound pretty good; the Crawl Control would be the tie breaker to me. Plus the 3500 left in pocket.....

I vote for the blue. Cheaper. Has crawl control and the mileage are very similar. Crawl control is virtually impossible to add later. A warrior roof rack is less than $1000.

Go blue bro and never look back. What a cool color too. CRAWL is the clincher.

Thanks for your insights and suggestions, guys. Looks like Calvary Blue wins by a landslide to this point. I am a bit torn though (if I wasn’t, there’d be no post). I too lean towards the Calvary Blue. Yet, the Army Green is clean - I mean, immaculately clean (the Calvary Blue is close), plus has features I’m wondering if I’ll use more often (parking, improved JBL system). Having had a 2013 Trail Teams, I know I used the Crawl Control maybe twice. Like a few of you have mentioned though, it’s nearly impossible to add it. And I have never had issues parking (or driving per sight lines) an FJ. Not sure if I could add parking sensors (not sure if it matters). So, I too lean towards Calvary Blue, but as I’ve not had an Army Green, and it’s not too much more (yet, nobody is giving me the extra $3500 for it either), and the couple selling it are top-notch (sometimes very hard to choose solely on cost)... It’s overall good to have two solid choices.

Personally I wouldn't care about Crawl Control, takes all the fun out of it. Just get whichever is less rusty underneath.

Either one sounds good. I like Green tho and a few thousand less miles.
But if either color works for you I would probably go cheaper then put the extra $ into mods to make her yours.

Re: Which FJC Seems the Better Deal

The only thing that I know is that a whole lot of people who spend time debating which vehicle to buy, often find it sold by the time they come to a conclusion about which one to buy. Sounds like you are leaning toward Army Green with lower miles but dont want to pay the additional $3500. So make them an offer where you are comfortable and if they take it...great. If not, move on the the Cavalry Blue.

FYI. Use KBB, NADA Guides or any other used vehicle service to value the 16k mileage difference.

Yes, per a favorite color, I like Calvary Blue. Yet, per features I would use (based on experience), mileage, and a close second color I’ve not had, the Army Green would be the choice. I think it’s a good idea to see if they will take a bit less. The undercarriage and body are spotless (I was actually amazed with it; it looked nearly off-the-lot clean). The Calvary Blue FJ, as I’ve mentioned, is clean too, just not quite as clean.
