I looked around but did not see any other posting of this video. I particularly like the footage of the lion hanging out on the roof at the 0:51 minute mark :grin
Super low sales volume killed the FJ. 2008 crisis? see the Wrangler. Toyota is a very slow turning ship in terms of updates. There is no way they can come up with another FJ cruiser (unfortunately). It's over. They are focused on the 4Runner, which is almost 10 years old without any innovation.. Toyota needs to step it up.
While it would be interesting to see what Toyota would come up with for a new gen 4Runner, there is something to be said for a proven, reliable drivetrain and rugged ladder frame SUV.
Of course, if gasoline prices rise that proven, reliable drivetrain suddenly becomes a big liability due to poor gas mileage. Look at 2009, only 19,675 were sold in the heart of the recession.
