I'd Like to Tell Toyota... This is for constructive suggestions to be made to Toyota regarding the FJ Cruiser. This is a flame free forum and heavily moderated.

why tell them

if they take your advice on anything its too late for us to have without buying the fj they changed these items on,hell id like to have a larger fuel tank,i hunt in desolate places in the mountains of west va. and every 2 days drive 75 miles round trip for a fill up.So i guess id like to tell toyota make the upgrades then recall our vehicles to ugrade ours.

It will never happen. The early FJ Cruisers (production prior to November 2006) did not permit both ATRAC and the rear locker to be engaged at the same time.

After November 1, 2006 (plus or minus a week or so) Toyota changed the ECU to permit this function. I (as well as many others here) asked Toyota to upgrade the ECU or give us an authorized fix. A couple forum gurus figured it out and posted here on the forum, but Toyota has never acknowledged our requests, even though many here filed out the formal Toyota forms and got a case number.

Don't get me wrong, I still love my ride.

They should at least fix major problems that were not expected. Like the frame bulging stuff.
