What did those run ya? And how much of a difference in comfort? Good looking with the black leather and red stitching for sure!

Very nice looking!

Are those heated/cooled? Or just electrically adjustable?

What are your plans for the TTUE seats you removed?

Are the air bags in the seats plug-n-play?

$200/each.
The bottom are a little bit higher and much comfortable that the FJ seats.
The power seat adjustments are a plus. I'm missing the arm rest.

I would miss the arm rest too! Thatís been one of my concerns with 4Runner and Lexus GX460 seats.
I havenít found any that have arm rests because they both have center consoles.
Iím thinking about just taking my stock seats to an upholstery shop and have them modified and recovered. Iíve been told that a good upholstery guy can strip them down to the frames and do all kinds of stuff, lumbar support, heat and cooling, different shaped bolsters, etc.. I just found a guy and looked over a dozen or so photos of his work, but havenít contacted him yet.

Re: Front and rear seat swap

If anyone in the LA area is looking for leather 4runner seats, there's a black/grey set at Phoenix Auto Wrecking yard in Wilmington. I didn't get them because of the grey inserts, but they would probably look good in a cement grey FJ. I didn't snap a pic, but they looked like this and seemed to be in very nice condition:

Re: Front and rear seat swap

I just purchased a driver seat from a 2013 gx460. Still looking for a good deal on the passenger seat. Some of these recyclers are crazy: $400 for the seat, then want $200 for the headrest +shipping!

Any of you guys that have done this swap before care to share any more info on how the wiring them up went? At minimum I need power to the adjustment setup and would love to get heat and ventilation working.

Any tips on getting these connected?

My driver's seat turned into a rather more epic project than intended after I managed to fry the ECU board built into the seat. So I'm gradually building a replacement using an Arduino, some h-bridges and 3D printed housings. So be careful not to fry the ECU to start with

Amongst all that I did note down some information about the connector to the seat. No idea if the connector or pin assignments are the same across different Lexus model years:

Sorry to hear about frying the ECU. I'd definitely like to avoid that.
Thanks for the sheet outlining the pins. To get power adjustments working, am I understanding correctly that just using pin 1 for 12v and pin 5 for ground should be all that's needed?

What about seatbelt and airbag connectors? I don't have the seats yet and was kind of confused by the various posts here. Are they the same from the FJ to the GX?

Really appreciate you took the time to respond. I'm surprised more that have completed this swap never returned to share details of the wiring in the past couple years.
