Your Girl Knows whats up. Good for her. They always mess the ears up when they try to get them pointy and there is really no point to it. They all have goofy Personalities. I hope you get a long life out of her. They are so people like.

Yeah - contact the manufacturer in the first instance. These type of products tend to be made by small business' and they're usually pretty keen to make things right.
The owner of the business is likely a member on this forum, so I'd like doubly like to make sure there isn't any negativity until there's just cause - at least give them a chance to respond to your email, or give them a call.

Everything I read/watched said remove adhesive until it's flat, not remove ALL adhesive - If this is truly the root of the problem I have no problem taking fault. However, I don't see how that could cause the issues I'm seeing.
I think the objective is no lumps standing proud of the surface.

Re: FJ Cruiser Freedom Windows - Unhappy.

They looked like they weren`t formed properly. Maybe they can just send you replacement windows and you can keep all the brackets installed so when the new windows get to you the install will be quick

Something along those lines is what I'm hoping for, hell I'm trying to find an MSDS to see if I can just hit it with a heat gun and mold it by hand...

I was kind of thinking that too. Just heat it slow and steady and it just might work. I would check with the company first but if they don`t help the heat gun might not be a bad idea

Re: FJ Cruiser Freedom Windows - Unhappy.

I've had the same issue on the drivers side since day one of install 7 or 8 years ago, replacement window did the same thing. I asked then and the solutions was more weatherstriping as @Diezel has shown. But your weatherstrip install is correct. The 2nd gen solution that they sent me had additional weatherstrip already in place. I believe it's the nature of the mechanics of the window being pulled in at the center. I think the window would flex less if the latch was spaced wider to pull more of the outside in and not the center. I haven't had major issues with it leaking in NorCal rains though.
