2007 FJ Cruiser

Hello,
I really like these cruisers and I found one I can afford, the problem may be that it has 202K miles on it. Is it worth it, and will it last much longer ?

Re: 2007 FJ Cruiser

Welcome.

This is a question that is asked here frequently. Mileage is not an issue provided the price reflects the mileage and that the vehicle has been properly maintained throughout its life. If the service history isn't there or is sketchy then I'd avoid it unless it is really cheap and you can go through everything yourself.

Re: 2007 FJ Cruiser

It all comes down to who owned it prior - driving/service habits.

My dad - could squeeze 500k mi out the FJ

My best friend - he'd be lucky if he could get 45k mi

Pay a mechanic for the exam and go from there

Re: 2007 FJ Cruiser

I agree ,a well cared for FJ could go a long while. Service records are key.

Like the others have said. Depends on how much and how cared for, if it's not this one keep looking and stay here learning while you look.

Welcome to the show.

Greetings from VT, aka rust central Make sure you see the underside (or detailed pics) before you buy, especially if it’s spent it’s life in rust-prone states

Welcome!

Go ahead, skin it! Skin that smoke wagon and see what happens...

I'll ride in on a sunny day, Sing you a song, steal your heart away Like a cowboy Hang my hat like I'm here for awhile Kick off my boots and drive you wild Like a cowboy Well baby you know I can't stay long You wake up, I'll be gone Until then I'll hold on Like a cowboy.
