Re: Pre trip maintenance oil Help

I use 5W-30 full synthetic.

Just have them check the normal things: Fluids, brakes, tires, belts, battery, and filters.

Ask for the free safety inspection.

What size tires will fit on my FJ?

The owner's manual for your FJ is right here. <--- This is a link. Many answers to your questions are contained within.

Re: Pre trip maintenance oil Help

I guess another question would be what kind of lube to use before going to the stealership?

What year is your FJ? The manual for my 2011 FJ calls for 0W-20 synthetic. Plus, you may want to have all the coolant hoses checked for deterioration and leaks. If your coolant's old, have that replaced as well. It's hot down there in the South.

BlindWilly's bottle of Blinker Fluid. I gotta remember that one! I've always wondered why some drivers left their blinkers on after completing the turn. Sticky blinkers. Silly me. I always thought it was because some drivers were saying "Watch me. I'm a dumb s**t" to the guy behind them over and over and over.....
