Re: Windshield Wiper Blades

I like to put a new set of Anco "winter" wiper blades every fall... They seems to work just as good as the more expensive stuff.

If you know what you're doing, you are not learning anything

I like the Icon wiper blades. Not affected by snow and ice build up.

What NOT to get..

Valeo Titaniums - they do not curve to fit the windshield on the driver and passenger sides.
Going back to the PIAA's...they worked well for me.

FWIW: I bought these as stated, and I took my FJ to the dealership last Friday for an oil change, tire rotation, coolant flush, etc and they said I should have my blades/inserts changed. I then go to looking at my windshield and they are starting to streak. I bought these in February, and we did have quite a bit of snow and rain here since then. I guess these are something I'll have to replace every four or five months. Is that normal?

I used to by Rain-X blades (not inserts) on my other FJ and those seemed to last longer - like 8 to 9 months of use?

Past: 2007 Black Diamond FJC - totaled
Present: 2012 Trail Team Edition Radiant Red
