Crack rock-crawler Build

Okay I figured I would start my own build thread for Alex's Crack rock Toyeti now that I purchased it, as I'm going to be doing my own things to it and just didn't want to flood his thread and confuse people. So lets start off with what Alex did... Well that's everything right now. So here it is...

The way I got it.

Lighting (changing constantly)
New Headlights! A local friend made me a set of retrofit Bi-Xenon projectors with RGB Halos.

Now I changed out all the Baja Designs lights for Diode Dynamics! Why did I do this? Baja's were great, but only my rich friends could afford them and Diode Dynamics
controls their light patterns better, with better lenses, same made in USA quality, street legal options and they are more then 50% cheaper!

All my lights are controlled wireless from up to 250 feet away with this NSA Switch Panel This NSA unit is awesome! It makes having all these lights a breeze to turn on and off, check it out for sure!

1 Pair- Lightforce Blitz 240’s with yellow/ clear lens covers/diffusers spot/flood combo beam (REMOVED-sold already to a friend)
"1 Pair- Scorpion-LED 109 watt LED (5”)- flood beam-
1 Pair- Rigid Dually D2’s- euro beam-
1 Pair- PIAA LP530- LED lights in rear bumper

I went and replaced everything for Baja Designs!! Which then got replaced by Diode Dynamics
2 pairs of the new bad ass XL-pro 80s in combo beam!!!
1 pair of the Squadron pro in wide cornering on the cowl mounts ( These will shock you! highly recommend)
1 pair of Squadron pro in amber wide corning.
1 pair of Squadron sports used as DRL/ cornering lights
1 pair of S2 pro mounted on rear bumper mounted on teflon washers and aim-able as needed from side light to rear lights.

Its going to replace the springtail molle system he had in the back holding his air tank. I wanted something I could use Molle with and hold stuff.

And thank you, close it was.

I just saw on the FJ Summit page they said when they will be opening up registration in March. So who is going to the Summit this yr? I wasn't able to do black bear last yr, but now I have a rig with ultra low range that will make me feel a bit better when I do go do it. This cracks me up each time I see it.

Holy moly. I didn't know whether to cringe or laugh the whole time. I don't think I could have handled that. :surprise

So I had to take that 240w double row led bar off as it melted the wiring it came with! So I ordered a new 22" bar that will be here next week. In the mean time I threw a 10" that I had laying around to sell for the time being. I also put on some DRLs on, wired them up with the little FJ cowl mounts.

Installed some new LED dome and map lights to the CRC tonight. Man these things are BRIGHT! Crazy bright and awesome!

First picture is my awesome PRP seats that are for sale now! As My new seats will be here tomorrow.

Here you can see the old rear cargo light (with the new front ones on) vs the new LED one next.

Lastly I installed some LED headlights as well.

What kind of seats are you replacing the PRPs with?

#66 ·
I'm going with the Corbeau xrs as they were the only ones that I could actually sit in to try out to make sure they fit my "Fluffy" stature. They still have quite a bit of bolstering but not as bad, plus they recline which will make getting the baby seat in and out a lot easier.

Great snow pics! Looks like you are fully enjoying your new ride. :)
Thanks Jess! I'm really am having fun with this rig, can't wait to get the seats and change up a few more things.
