Aloha forum members, I purchased my 2011 NSSE beginning of this month the FJ was pretty much stock just some 265 BFG's that was in need of replacing. I was thinking at first I wanted to get crazy with this build but after a so thinking I just wanted an upgraded suspension and some new rims and tires since this was just going to be my surf car and wont do much off roading just maybe some bumpy dirt roads and some sand getting to my surf spots. Ok so here is the parts I got and installed yesterday Im really happy with the outcome and how it handles.
TRD suspension from ultimate trail team
Traxda 3in front spacers with diff drop
Icon 2in rear springs
SPC UCA's
TRD skid plate
TRD cat-back exhaust
Fuel Enduro rims 17x9 offset -12
Nitto trail grappler M/T 285/70/17
smitty built M1 sliders (still waiting for delivery)
I just left it as how it came from Toyota they keep one on top and one on lower to comp for drivers side lean. I went with the 3in spacer up front cause all the UETT I saw it still has a slight front drop not perfect leveled. With my set up I did, the front is a 1/2in higher than the back back just like how I wanted it. it drives so good no pull in steering when gas and braking no steering shakes only took it up to 70mph on freeway in Hawaii thats the fastest you prob will ever go, so much traffic here and our speed limit is only 55mph.
She looks good, I love my NSSE. I am surprised you went with spacers on the front, especially since you replaced the springs and UCA's. I had spacers for two years and just updated and can tell a difference.
I just sold this beast of a rust bucket 31k:grin and just bought Braddas camo wrapped TTUE that was on here posted for sale bringing back to Hawaii where it belongs cheeeeee:grin
