It seems you know alot about tires... I want to go with bigger rims. either 18 or 20. Right now I have 285 70 r17.. if I keep the width the same 285 and change the rim size to 18, all I should have to do is adjust the percentage or the 70 to give me the same overall height? correct. I found this calculator which allows me to do that. I just want to make sure my thinking is correct.

I have a 07 FJ. Use it for my Construction work, some times pulling a trailer. about 80k I had the "shuddering trany" thing and I had 270 miles left on extended warranty. Brought it to a Toyota dealer and after about a week they concluded it was the torque converter. Popped in a new one and every thing seemed good. No shudder, cost was $100 (warranty deductible) and life was good. 25k later I was driving on to the highway. Side story: I live in Mass and we have a ton of snow, so ive been using 4 hi and 4 low at times. When I was pulling on to the highway the dash board lit up. check engine, slip warning, vsc off, vsc trac all on. Went to auto zone they scanned and came up with pressure solenoid "A" performance and pressure solenoid "D" performance. Had trouble with overdrive. meaning not working. The other day lights went out and still no overdrive. Its Auto trans. I am bringing it to a local shop on Tuesday but I hate to go in with out having any idea what the problem is.

I have a 2014 TTUE and I find a lot of people giving me the high beam as if I had my high beams on, of course the second I do flash on my high beams they turn theirs off. They are great head lights! Do you know if there has been other complaints about this issue? Thank you and have a great day!

Doc wondering if you can answer a question for me. On the AP HD steering kit is there a boot that can replace the old one or will this area now be open to the elements. Thanks in advance, I can't wait the 36 hours until AP opens tomorrow. Just so you know I am in the process of installing AP LT kit. Thanks again, ou812
