What is the function of this switch?

I just bought a 2007 FJ and I've been trying to figure out all the controls and this one I can't any info about. Probably no big deal, but I'd like to know what it does. Thanks

It's difficult for me to see in the photo but could it be Air Recirculation for your AC?

I think that's for a motion sensor so you can turn it of if you have too.

Go ahead, skin it! Skin that smoke wagon and see what happens...

Re: What is the function of this switch?

The #17 . Intuitive parking assist switch is to the left of the switch in question.

The 2007 manual I'm looking at doesn't show a switch in that position ?? just a blank.

Re: What is the function of this switch?

Nope it's factory. It seems to be a VIP alarm. Something about motion inside the vehicle. Go figure.

it disables motion sense inside so pets don't set off alarm on the VIP alarm system

Re: What is the function of this switch?

Forgot to post the pic from the manual.

You can click on it for a bigger image.. Don't know why it doesn't show a switch there. ??

"Don't know why it doesn't show a switch there. ??"

Glenarch answered it in the post directly above yours: "it disables motion sensor inside so pets don't set off alarm on the VIP alarm system"

The VIP alarm system is not factory installed, its put in by the dealer, so it wouldn't show up in the factory owner's manual.
