The last I heard, Billy Goat's is now closed including the Bistro, bar, and beer garden.
When I was through there a few weeks ago, there was a big for sale sign on it. Didn't stop to see if it was closed (for good), but wasn't open when I drove past. Hardly any places in town looked open at that time of day on a Sunday in the down season though, so I can't put too much on that alone.

Well, it would normally be closed right now anyway, because it's just barely getting to be time to be outdoors for meals in those parts.

Then, it's had a 'for sale' sign on it for the past couple yeas (maybe 3?). So, it's entirely possible that somebody bought it....or that they couldn't sell it and just shut it down.

Whatever the case, hopefully somebody does something with it, because that was a cool place to sit and have a beer; looking up at the Amphitheater.

As long as Ourayle house is still open me and the pups will make do.

I got a 55 gallon drum of give-a-****, but it echos when I tap on it.

Re: Dog/pet-friendly Places in Ouray

We just went to Ouray 2 weeks ago and we took our two shibas with us. We didn't take them to any restaurants though.
