Summit 2007/2008 accountability

Had a great time at the Summit last year, but was wondering:

Supposedly money from the raffle and entry fees were going to different Ouray groups. I think mentioned was Ouray Mtn Rescue and the Police Dept. However I have never seen posted how much was donated. Could the kind people that donated so much of their time to setting this up, also step up and tell us what was donated and to who? Or was this strictly a commercial enterprise? NO problem either way, just have not seen anything posted at all.

Thanks...

I'm sure it was enough to worthy that Saturday as "Official Toyota FJ Cruiser Day!" in Ouray, Colorado.

Bump.... Hello guys?

Edit: I'm sure you also have the number of raffle tickets sold vs. funds donated. Just so everyone knows where it went.

Re: Summit 2007/2008 accountability

Umm.. anyone notice it's THE DAY AFTER CHRISTMAS!!!!! I'm sure numbers will be put together shortly. Give um a break, geeez, can you say..holiday!

My semi related rant:
Oh, and after seeing the stuff put together, hours in, banners, etc atta boy is cool and all, but these guys (I think) an OVER comprehensive package (no way ANYONE could be at all places all times, all trails, all raffles.....over load!!!)

So give them a break, I’m sure this next run will cover a lot of these issues (where money went, getting trail guides ahead of time to commit to schedule, time, and rules. This was a small group, wearing many hats. Please don’t fault as if organization isn’t a strength, just a lot to contend with.

Oh, and PS Boston and crew, you suck (didn’t want any big heads, you wouldn’t fit in your FJ.)
