My mother is coming out from Nebraska to spend Christmas with me. She LOVES the outdoors and wants to see more of the CA desert. Last time she was here she saw Coyote Canyon. I want to give her a general tour of Anza Borrego State Park. Anyone wanting to join us is welcome. All trails will be mild to moderate. Not sure on the route yet but will know more as we get closer. This will also be my sons Maiden Anza Borrego voyage. :D

This looks like a great trip planned. I would love to go but I am going to pick up my IFS skid that day and also would have to leave to go back home by 2pm. Wish the run was for Sunday.:boohoo: Have fun guys and gals.:bigthumb:

Sir Ollie,

I will try to make this one. The kids are moving into their new house, were supposed to last week, but we just painted instead. I do not know their plans for this weekend. I have a lot of their furniture in my 5th wheel, so when it is time I have to be there. I will try to let you know as it grows closer

If I miss tell mom(that youngster) I said hi and GO BIG RED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Weather aside, the run for this weekend is still on. Forecasts actually show the weather for the weekend to be in the 60's for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with it being mostly sunny. Should actually make for a pleasant desert run. If anything, we might skip Oriflame/Rodriguez if it is wet up there. It will just give us more time down in the desert area.:rocker:

I bet the mud caves will be the best you ever seen and the Diablo drop-off, someone is going to be the first to put new tire treads on it. ( after the rain ) This is a great treat to those that have never been there, Ollies a great guide.
Very kind words sir.

PM sent...

I ran some VW Touregs through this a few weeks ago. I can get a stock FJ through it. I've taken other stock FJs through it including my own. Need to have running boards removed if you haven't already done so.

A few of us are coming from San Diego.
