Multiple Quoting

I know how to click on the Quote thing to have it in the text, but how do you go about replying to multiple quotes in your replies?

Re: Multiple Quoting

You'll need to cut&paste for multiple quotes. Use VBcode [quote=username}{/quote] to surround the different quotes. Replace '}' w/ ']' & '{' w/ '[' to make it work.

You can split the quote up or add others using the code. When you "click on the quote thing" it does a little shortcut for you, something like this but with brackets insted of parentheses :
(QUOTE=Landrover)bla blah blaah blahh(/QUOTE)
To do multiple quotes just copy and paste or type the proper quote code at the begining and end of each quote.
You can also do a quote in a qoute like this(remember use brackets)
(QUOTE=your mama)I like cheese!(QUOTE=Tiny Tim)Why am I so small?(/QUOTE)(/QUOTE)
If you did it with brackets it would look like this:
Quote:
your mama previously said:
I like cheese!
Quote:
Tiny Tim previously said:
Why am I so small?
Just rember for every quote you start (QUOTE=Insert Name), you have to end with (/QUOTE).
Now that you know how to use the code jsut copy and paste the text you want in there! If you need toget back to the forums, open a new browser window (ctrl n in internet explorer) and use the back feature to cut and paste to your hearts delite!

Re: Multiple Quoting

woohoo! Thanks..I will attempt my 1st multiple qoute later.

The other one i've been wondering about is how to place a link in your post, aside from cutting and pasting the link itself. I'll see post that say "go here" and it is the link. Cool, but how?

or posting a pic inside your post. That is cool too. Man I wish I was smarter sometimes ..

Copy the link you want to use.

Then just type in the text that you want to be used as a link like:

GO HERE

Then highlight the "GO HERE"

While it's highlighted, click on "Insert Link" button at top of dialogue window, and paste your link in the bar. Voila. You got it.

At the top of the reply to thread window there are allot of buttons like those on a word processor program. The one that is a globe icon with a chain in front of it is a "link" to the "world wide web".
To post a picture click on the icon that looks like mountains with the sun over it.
