I am going to chime in on politics for this rare time only. People will believe whatever someone first tells them. Anything after that you will get the response "that's not what I heard". Doesn't matter if it's true or not.

Members of party A are always correct while party B is always wrong. If party A believes something and party B also believes it, then party A must appose it just because.

Almost all people blindly believe a 5 second clip on a subject, but won't dare to watch the full 5 minutes before or after because it might prove them wrong.

I am not a member of any party. I can think for myself w/o a politician or the media telling me what to think.

Rant over.
I'm with you bro, I'm a liberal conservative or conservative liberal depending on the day. There's A-holes on both sides. The further to the right or left you go from centre, the bigger the A-holes. IMO anyway.
I, of course am perfect and my views should be shared by everyone.

Addendum: The term "both sides" or "both parties". There are more than 2 parties, and more than 2 sides to a story. Another attempt to divide people.

Politics, religion, climate change, etc. All the same when people want to make “absolute” claims. In life I’ve found the middle ground to be “the middle” due to the ability to have optics that allow me to see both sides and determine facts versus someone else’s “truth”.

Hunting, guns and the enjoyment of being on top of the food chain and so forth allows me to enjoy the fact that I know where my food sources originated. Be it the market or the field. Both are acceptable.

Living on a farm at a young age taught me to respect life and the knowledge of where it all comes from. Too few have that appreciation in my experience when your environment is predominantly concrete and asphalt. All the reason more to introduce people to the outdoors (and what better way than taking them for a ride on a trail in our FJ’s!

Sarcasm in some of the responses suggests several things. The predominant ones are inferior thought regarding the sarcastic response or something along the lines of it takes one to know one as they once said in primary school. So if you’re still in that level of school, I suppose silly comments would be expected.

I appreciate and agree with what you are trying to say but these are people who cry for 3 days if you get their pronoun wrong. The idea of actually entering the woods is beyond their comprehension .
If I get them in the woods to "hunt".....they won't be coming out. JS.

In times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act.

I would rather be tried by twelve, than carried by six.

Liberals are like Slinkies, they're only interesting after you push them down the stairs.

Re: Inanity

Excuse me while I put my mod hat on...

Feel free to continue the conversation in the off off topic area - theres a political banter thread in there, and some gun threads as well.
The vast majority of us on this forum are outdoors types - hence our common choice of vehicle.
Let's keep it friendly (not that it hasn't so far) but I'll nip this current convo in this thread in the bud.

Have a nice day everyone, and see you on the dark side.
